Design Concept to represent Brand India



India Brand Equity Foundation is a Trust established by Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. IBEF’s primary objective is to promote and create international awareness of the Made in India label in markets overseas and to facilitate dissemination of knowledge of Indian products and services. Towards this objective
, IBEF works closely with stakeholders across government and industry to promote Brand India.
IBEF invites creative inputs to represent Brand India in overseas fairs and exhibitions. The project comprises:
• Creating an original design concept for projecting India at overseas trade exhibitions.
• The design concept should be bold and should bring out the India colours (tricolour).
• The country name India should appear clearly and boldly as part of design.
• The designs should be highly impacting and bold and should showcase contemporary India’s strengths across sectors.
• The agency should also provide guidelines and information to assist the production agency in ensuring that Brand India messaging is clearly and consistently showcased throughout.

The objective of the exercise is twofold:
- To project India prominently at overseas exhibitions and highlight it distinctly
- Bring synergy/consistency of design

The elements to be designed are:
- Theme Design
- Stall Fascia : 12 ft (L) x 2 ft (H)
- Pillar : 10 ft (H) x 2 1/2 ft (W)
- Backdrop: 20 ft (W) x 10 ft (H)
- Standee: 6 ft (H) x 3ft (W)

The selected entry will be awarded a Cash prize of Rs. 25,000/-
Top five shortlisted entries: Cash prize of Rs. 5,000/- each
Last date for submission is 15th August, 2015
*Note: The sizes are given just for reference, since the design will not be used for one single exhibition. Once selected, it will be used in all the exhibitions.
Each entry must include indicative renditions of the proposed design concept for the elements mentioned above.
